"Pride"
Hey there, ya sweaty pigs!
As Pride Month comes to a close, we’re here to remind you that Pride doesn’t stop when the calendar flips to July. We’re celebrating all through the year, because being proud, bold, and unapologetically you is a year-round gig.
A Walk Down Memory Lane
First things first, let’s talk history. Pride Month isn’t just about rainbows and glitter (though we love those too). It’s about celebrating our journey – from the Stonewall riots to the vibrant parades we see today. It’s about honoring the brave souls who fought for our rights and recognizing that there’s still work to be done. So, grab your favorite jock, put on a fabulous hat, and let’s strut our stuff in honor of those who paved the way.
Love is Love
At Sweaty Johnson, we believe love is love, whether you’re into bears, twinks, leather, or lace. This month, let’s celebrate every shade of the rainbow. Let’s hug a little tighter, kiss a little longer,
and spread kindness like it’s confetti. Remember, every act of love and acceptance is a step towards a world where everyone can be themselves without fear.
Keeping it Cool in the Heat

Speaking of love, we know many of you just got back from Tidal Wave in Palm Springs – one of the hottest, bear-iest pool parties of the year. We hope you had a blast and stayed hydrated (not just with margaritas). Johnson sweat is at an all time high in this heat that seems to be sweeping the country, from Southern California and beyond, so it’s important to keep cool. Whether you’re showing off your new Jock on your way to the nude beaches of Fort Liquordale or a cute new suit on the river in the PNW, remember to slather on that sunscreen and drink plenty of water.
A Fun Encounter
Alright, folks, gather 'round for a story that’s equal parts awkward, funny and hot. The holy trinity.
So there I was, playing a game of pick-up basketball at the gym, just trying to get my sweat on. Among the players was this 45-ish-year-old muscle-bound guy who couldn’t stop preaching. Every break in the game, he’s there spouting off stuff like, “Have you stilled your heart today?” and “Make sure to give God time to reply after you pray.” But the kicker? “Pride is a sin, so of course gays have a Pride Month.” Real charming, right?
Fast forward, and we’re in the locker room. I’m snapping a pic of my sweaty Johnson in the mirror (you know, for the ‘Gram and all). Mr. Bible Thumper sees me and, instead of another sermon, he comments on my jock! I show him the name and start talking about my company. He loves it. Next thing you know, this guy – sitting there butt-ass naked the whole time, mind you – whips out his phone and opens our website. Right there, still in his birthday suit, he buys a few jocks.
I’m standing there, holding my jockstrap, trying to process this. I throw the jock in my gym bag and head to the shower. When I come back out, this guy is still there, naked as the day he was born, reading the fucking Bible! I awkwardly put my clothes on and make a hasty exit.
I don't know if he was interested in my Sweaty Johnson or my sweaty johnson, but maybe, just maybe,he's found a new way to connect with the divine.
Sharing this story here isn't intended to knock religion but to remind you that you don't need to pray away the gay. Embrace it. Love yourself.

Mental Health and Having Fun
Pride Month is also a great time to check in on our mental health. It’s okay to not be okay, and it’s important to talk about it. Surround yourself with supportive friends, take time to relax, and do things that make you happy. And if you need a little pick-me-up, remember that laughter is the best medicine. So, tell that dirty joke, share that silly meme, and let’s keep the vibes high.
Celebrate with Us
This Pride Month, we’re not just celebrating our products; we’re celebrating YOU – our incredible, diverse, and beautiful community. So, whether you’re rocking your new jocks at a parade, chilling at a pool party, or just living your best life, do it with pride. And don’t forget to share your Sweaty Johnson moments with us on social media. We love seeing how you’re making the world a sweatier, sexier place.
Stay sweaty, stay sexy, and most importantly, stay proud.
Love, Your Sultan of Sweat, Scott.
